Focus on identifying what qualifies for a Large Marine Ecosystem (LME). (The criteria for determining a LME.)

  • Understanding what characterizes the distinct bathymetry, hydrography, productivity, and trophically dependent populations making up the specific identifiable regions.
  • Identifying the countries that make up each LME. (Ex: LME #28 the Guinea Current covers 16 countries.)
